I produce, mix, and master all of my music. I highly recommend that artists learn to produce, engineer, and take control of their sound, as it ultimately allows for the freedom to create music without the constraints of studio-time and money. In the long run, learning to record, mix, and master your own stuff is worth it.
 
I have been mixing and mastering audio for over 20 years. I master my own music as well songs for other artists interested in having the final cut of their song or album handled with precision, detail, and care.

The term "mastering" can be something of a mystery. My process is simple:  I work in Pro Tools to make EQ adjustments, compression, limiting, and often a bit of "warming up" of the mix to get a song radio-ready and mastered to the volume specifications of all major digital streaming services. (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Tidal)
